PTUK has established a group of councils to maintain and promote quality education and academic prosperity. These councils were formed according to the statutes of public universities which was drafted by a number of intellectuals and specialists in the Palestinian society and in diaspora to support and maintain universities’ independence, growth and prosperity.
The university’s administration consists of the Board of Trustees, the University’s Council, and the Academic Council with the support of the assistants of the president and deputies. The management of each of the university’s colleges is undertaken by the dean of the college and assisted by the college council and the academic department council. Each unit is also managed by the unit’s head, and each academic or administrative department is managed by a director. Each supportive deanship is also managed the dean of the college, and each center is managed by the director of the center.
