Sustainable development is widely recognized as a key pathway toward progress, encouraging institutions and communities to adopt sustainable practices in all areas of operation.
In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on sustainable development within the Palestinian context. As a result, sustainability has emerged as a critical area for both practical implementation and academic research.
At Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie (PTUK), the Sustainability Development Office was established as a multidisciplinary hub dedicated to designing strategies, providing consultation services, promoting public awareness, supporting basic and applied research, and managing projects related to sustainable and green built environments for the PTUK community and the broader local society.
