-3EEE- EPF- professional Diploma: Transforming Teaching through the Flip 3EEE Approach

 As part of the ongoing efforts of the FLIP 3EEE Project to transform higher education and promote flipped and active learning approaches, Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK) organized a distinguished academic showcase meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2026, under the title:

“3EEE-EPF Professional Diploma: Transforming Teaching through the Flip 3EEE Approach.”

 

The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (Dr. Muammar Ishtawi, Eng. Samer Musa, and Eng Rabee Abu-Shamleh, European and Palestinian project partners (Prof. Dr. Dolores sanchez, Dr. Maja Mesl, Dr Rashid Jayousi, and Mr. Alexandros Sainidis), and PTUK deputy of academic Affairs Dr. Mutammad Al-Khatib, as well as faculty members participating in the Professional Diploma in Higher Education Pedagogy.

The meeting was opened by Prof. Dr. Nuha Iter, Project Manager, who presented the philosophy of the FLIP 3EEE Project and its transformative journey toward redesigning higher education through more interactive, student-centered, and technology-enhanced learning environments.

 

The event featured a series of inspiring course showcase presentations delivered by faculty members participating in the diploma program, including Dr. Sherin Hijazi, Dr. Jafar Jallad, Dr. Rania Alkhateeb, Dr. Musa Amayreh, Dr. Mohammed Amer Eng. Lec. Alaa Hantoli, and Mrs. Ruba Ahmad, . Each presenter demonstrated the redesign process of a course developed according to the FLIP-3EEE approach.

The presentations included an overview of the course vision, Canva Storyboards, and the complete course template structure, in addition to PowerPoint screenshots illustrating all course components. These presentations highlighted the remarkable transformation achieved in course design, organization, interactivity, and educational quality.

Following the template presentations, the redesigned Moodle courses were opened live and explored from beginning to end in a dynamic and engaging walkthrough. Presenters highlighted the visual attractiveness, interactive activities, modern learning tools, and rich educational resources that transformed the courses from traditional content delivery into inspiring and engaging digital learning experiences.

 

Special attention was given to selected lessons within the courses, which were presented with passion and enthusiasm as practical examples of modern higher education based on self-learning, interaction, and meaningful application of knowledge.

Dr. Mahmoud Ismail and D. Rami Yousef facilitate the sessions also the meeting also included faculty reflection and experience-sharing sessions, where participants emphasized the positive impact of the experience on their teaching practices and their growing belief in the effectiveness of flipped learning and technology and AI-enhanced pedagogy 3 learning environments.

 

In her closing remarks, Prof. Dr. Nuha Iter emphasized that the genuine conviction in the effectiveness of this approach, together with the tangible transformation witnessed in course quality and student engagement, has motivated the redesign of more university courses according to the FLIP 3EEE model in 3 learning environments. She stressed that modern education is no longer limited to content delivery, but rather represents a comprehensive, interactive, and inspiring learning experience.

 

The event further reflected, before this distinguished academic and official audience, the success of the FLIP 3EEE Project in creating a meaningful transformation in higher education culture and in promoting innovative, high-quality, and sustainable teaching practice
