1. Inclusion of Interdisciplinary Research in Academic Promotion Requirements

   Internationally indexed interdisciplinary publications are counted in PTUK's academic promotion criteria; researchers with high FWCI scores are given priority in promotion decisions by the Deanship of Scientific Research.

2. Financial and Non-Financial Incentives

   The Deanship of Scientific Research provides annual incentive awards for distinguished research published in international databases, citations-based awards, and supports publication in Q1-ranked interdisciplinary journals. Research time and additional resources are allocated for high-impact interdisciplinary projects.

3. Supporting Research Exchange and International Partnerships

   International partnerships are encouraged through PTUK's International Relations Office and academic exchange programs; joint funding is provided for projects carried out with international research institutions; researchers are supported in participating in specialized international conferences.

4. Enhancing Research-Industry Partnerships

   Applied research conducted in collaboration with Palestinian government bodies, agricultural sector, and private enterprises is recognized in promotion criteria; additional incentives are offered to researchers who translate interdisciplinary research into patents or practical applications relevant to Palestinian development.

5. Marketing Interdisciplinary Research and Knowledge Transfer

   A specialized unit promotes PTUK's interdisciplinary research outcomes to relevant stakeholders; research and innovation exhibitions showcase key results to investors and funding agencies; consultations on patents and technology transfer are provided to faculty through the Deanship of Scientific Research.

6. Scientific Awards and Research Competitions

   PTUK's Distinguished Researcher Award recognizes faculty achieving outstanding success in scientific integration and interdisciplinary impact; annual research competitions encourage innovative interdisciplinary project submissions; competitive grants and publication support are awarded to winning projects.
