Introduction: 

Palestine Technical University (PTUK) is strongly committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 4, which emphasizes ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. As a national institution with a leading role in higher education, PTUK works to expand access to learning, enhance educational quality, and support social and economic development within the Palestinian community and beyond. The university’s mission reflects a deep dedication to preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for active participation in a rapidly evolving world.

PTUK promotes access to education by offering diverse academic programs that respond to labor market needs, providing scholarships and financial aid to students with limited resources, and supporting first-generation university students through academic advising, mentoring, and integration programs. These initiatives help ensure that education is not restricted by financial or social barriers, enabling learners from different backgrounds to continue their academic pathways successfully.

In addition, PTUK places a strong emphasis on improving teaching quality through continuous development of faculty members, adoption of modern pedagogical strategies, and integration of digital learning platforms. The university actively implements learner-centered approaches, including the flipped classroom and problem-based learning, which encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and self-directed learning.

Palestine Technical University is conducting a series of awareness activities aimed at reaching the largest possible number of beneficiaries of the educational services it offers

The Quality Education Report 2024–2025 highlights Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie’s (PTUK) strategic progress in fostering inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4). Throughout this period, PTUK expanded and diversified its academic offerings to include interdisciplinary programs that integrate sustainability, technological advancement, and applied research. These efforts ensure that students are equipped with both the theoretical foundation and practical, hands-on skills required by the contemporary labor market and emerging industries.

A core focus of the university during this reporting cycle has been the enhancement of teaching and learning practices. PTUK continued to adopt modern pedagogical approaches that emphasize active learning, digital education platforms, simulation-based laboratories, and research-informed instruction.
