Research addressing sustainable water management, treatment, conservation, and quality monitoring (2024 – 2025).
Research on Water at PTUK focuses on advancing knowledge and technologies to improve water quality, availability, and sustainable management, directly supporting SDG6. This research covers hydrology, water treatment, water conservation strategies, and policy studies. Faculty and students collaborate on experimental studies, field surveys, and applied projects with local communities and governmental agencies. Outputs include research papers, pilot systems, workshops, and community engagement programs. Additional activities, including student-led innovation competitions and collaborations with water utilities, strengthen research impact and enhance practical solutions for water challenges in Palestine. These initiatives provide students with hands-on experience, foster innovation in water management, and demonstrate PTUK’s commitment to ensuring sustainable water resources.
