Water Consumption [6.2]
Measurement of total water use (treated or extracted sources) relative to total campus population, assessing efficiency and conservation.
Water Consumption at PTUK focuses on monitoring and reducing water use across the campus, laboratories, irrigation systems, and dormitories. This supports SDG6 by ensuring efficient water use and promoting sustainable consumption. The Sustainability Office, alongside students and technical staff, implements water audits, installs water-saving fixtures, and raises awareness about water efficiency. Outputs include water usage reports, reduction strategies, and educational campaigns. Additional activities, such as competitions to reduce water use and community outreach, further encourage responsible consumption practices.
