Energy-Efficient Buildings Policy

Energy-Efficient Buildings Policy [7.2.1]

Policy ensuring that all new buildings and major renovations comply with national and international energy-efficiency standards.

Introduction:
Energy-Efficient Buildings Policy at PTUK ensures that new and existing campus buildings adopt sustainable designs, energy-saving technologies, and smart monitoring systems. The policy aligns with SDG7 by reducing energy consumption and promoting low-carbon operations. Activities include energy audits, staff training, retrofitting programs, and pilot projects integrating smart energy systems. Additional activities, such as workshops for students and staff and community awareness campaigns, enhance knowledge dissemination and practical application. These initiatives provide students with hands-on experience in energy-efficient building management and contribute to creating a sustainable campus model.
