Implementation of structured carbon-management systems to monitor, reduce, and offset CO₂ emissions from university operations.
Introduction:
Carbon management at PTUK reduces greenhouse gas emissions from campus operations and supports SDG7. Strategies include measuring, monitoring, and mitigating carbon emissions across buildings, labs, transportation, and energy systems. Activities include carbon audits, energy-efficient upgrades, renewable energy adoption, and awareness campaigns. Students gain practical experience in carbon footprint assessment. Outputs include emission reports, mitigation plans, and student-led projects. These initiatives improve energy efficiency, reduce fossil fuel dependence, and promote low-carbon practices on campus.
