Government Support [7.4.4]
Advisory partnerships with local and national governments on energy transition policies, renewable strategies, and green regulations.
The Government Support the university’s participation in shaping national and municipal clean energy strategies. Universities hold technical expertise in engineering, environmental sciences, economics, and policy, making them key partners in the development of regulatory frameworks and energy planning. Through advisory committees, feasibility studies, pilot project collaboration, and consultation sessions, universities support government institutions in adopting sustainable energy solutions. This axis strengthens SDG 7 by improving national access to clean energy, while advancing SDG 16 through transparent and evidence-based governance. Participation in national planning also positions the university as a credible leader in sustainable transformation, while offering faculty and students real-world policy engagement experience. The Government Support axis ensures that academic knowledge contributes directly to public benefit and national development priorities.
