Building Upgrades [7.2.2]
Strategic plans to retrofit and upgrade existing campus buildings to higher energy-performance standards.
Introduction:
Building upgrades at PTUK enhance energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and promote sustainable campus operations. Projects include lighting retrofits, HVAC optimization, insulation improvement, and integration of smart energy management systems. These upgrades improve comfort for students and staff while reducing the carbon footprint. Students participate in audits and monitoring, gaining practical skills in sustainable building management. Outputs include energy savings reports, case studies, and applied learning opportunities. These initiatives support SDG7 by increasing energy efficiency and integrating clean energy solutions in campus infrastructure.
