The “Commitment to SDG Education” focus area at PTUK emphasizes integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the university’s core educational mission. This focus area reflects PTUK’s dedication to equipping students, faculty, and staff with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to contribute to sustainable development across local, national, and global contexts. The commitment encompasses curriculum integration, research initiatives, capacity-building programs, awareness campaigns, and practical experiential learning opportunities.
PTUK embeds SDG concepts into course content, co-curricular activities, and research programs, fostering a holistic educational environment that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and social responsibility. The university also engages in training and workshops for educators to strengthen their ability to incorporate SDGs into teaching and research.
