Published Progress – SDG5 (Gender Equality) [17.3.5]

Public reporting on university progress and performance related to SDG5 (Gender Equality).

The “Published Progress – SDG5” focus area at PTUK focuses on documenting initiatives that promote gender equality, empower women, and ensure equal opportunities in education, research, and community engagement. PTUK implements programs to encourage female participation in STEM fields, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and applied research. The university also addresses social inclusion, gender-based violence awareness, and equitable access to resources, creating an environment that fosters equality and empowerment.

Publishing progress supports SDG17 by enabling multi-stakeholder collaboration and knowledge sharing. PTUK’s reports, case studies, and research publications provide evidence of effective strategies to advance gender equality, allowing other universities, NGOs, and government institutions to replicate and adapt best practices. This approach strengthens networks, promotes capacity building, and encourages the integration of gender-sensitive policies at institutional and societal levels.

Through this focus area, PTUK combines applied research, community outreach, and educational interventions to enhance opportunities for women and marginalized groups. By documenting outcomes and lessons learned, the university contributes to systemic change, influencing policy development and reinforcing a culture of inclusion. This focus area demonstrates the role of higher education institutions in promoting gender equality while building sustainable partnerships that advance SDG17.
