Within the frame of the Palestinian Agribusiness and Academic Cooperation (PAAC) project which is funded by the Dutch government, PalestineTechnical University -Kadoorie organized a workshop under the title "Gender Response Program".
In the opening speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. TahseenSayaera indicated that “the workshop, which will last for two days, will address then topics of gender, sex, social construction of gender, gender and culture, gender roles, stereotypes, equity, responsiveness and transformation teaching and gender incorporation in research”.
In this context, the lecture at the workshop Dr. Fadwa Al-Labadi explained that the workshop concerns both male and female academics, because gender concerns the relationship between men and women in society, stressing the need to raise gender awareness in education andresearch.
