Board of Trustees
The presidential decree to form the Board of Trustees of Palestine Technical University -Kadoorie was issued in April 2020 based on Cabinet Resolution No. 3, 2020.
The first Board of Trustees included 19 members from different backgrounds, including academic figures in various fields of science, representatives of sectors of a number of government institutions, civil society institutions, and active economic and political figures in society.
The following are general rules and tasks assigned to the members of the Board of Trustees:

The president and members of the council are appointed by a decree issued by the president of the State.

A full term of a member can last up to three years with a term limit of two terms.

The Council elects a member as a vice-president and another member to serve as a secretary.

The council also selects a member as its president and other members serve as permanent committee members such as: public relations, finance, promotion and scholarships.

The council meets at least once every two months in addition to exceptional sessions that are held at the request of one third of the members.

The system defines the tasks and powers of the council, which support and integrate with the tasks and powers of the two main partners, namely the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the university administration.
