  • Mission

    Within the framework of the Palestine Technical University “Kadoorie” endeavor to preserve the cultural identity of the Palestinian Arab people, and believing in the university’s role as part of the societal fabric, the Kadoorie Center for Research and National Documentation was launched in the context of proving the Palestinian identity, in light of the fierce attack on the Palestinian issue, in an attempt to obliterate Identity and the abolition of the historical Palestinian presence and its right to this land, and from the standpoint of belonging and national duty.

    • Preserving the Palestinian and Arab historical document.
    • Contributing to saving many manuscripts from damage and loss.
    • Consolidating the Palestinian Arab identity by preserving historical documents.
    • Preparing studies and research related to the history of Palestine and national issues.
    • Analysis and archiving of old Sharia court records and land records in the Ottoman period.
    • Documenting the events of the Nakba, the setback, and the events that the Palestinian Arab people went through at home and abroad.

  • Message from the Director

    The establishment of the Khadoori Center for National Documentation as a university research center that seeks to document oral narratives and Palestinian history stems from the role of Khadoori University as a national institution that seeks to spread knowledge and awareness of the ancient and modern history of Palestine, through documenting the Palestinian identity and conducting studies and research on the most important topics related to Palestinian history and heritage, including: : (The Ottoman period and its repercussions, the British occupation of Palestine and its effects, the Nakba and the fabricated events that took place around it, the setback, the Palestinian national movement, the captive movement, the camps and refugees, and the history of Khadoori University), Therefore, the university will have an important role through the center by sending a message to the generations and to the world about these topics, through research, publications, meetings, and modern means of technology.
