PTUK Al – Aroub Celebrates Students’ Graduation Day and Sedam Promises More Support

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie – Al - Aroub celebrated the students’ graduation day of its 11th University Graduation and the 58th of its ancient Kadoorie, under the auspices of His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Rami Hamdallah.
The graduation carried the name of “Al-Quds Class” as an entitlement to the name of the national and religious capital of Jerusalem city and to support the PalestinianJerusalemites due to the brutal targeting practices by the Israeli occupation.
The ceremony was organized in participation of Hebron Governor Kamel Hmeid, the University President Prof. Marwan Awartani, Al – Aroub Director Dr. Muheeb Abu Lawha, and the Deputy Assistant for the Higher Education Affairs Dr. Ihab Qubaj along with representatives from governmental, national and civil institutions.
Dr. Sabri Sedam congratulated the graduate students and their families, expressing pride of the Ministry of Education to Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie for the development embodied in the merger of Al-Aroub and Ramallah colleges as well as the PTUK’s Reunifications of lands.
He also indicated the Ministry’s readiness to support the State University to achieve more educational and infrastructural development, saying that “education is a right for everyone, and we are keen to protect our sons’ rights.”
Kamel Hmeid expressed his appreciation to PTUKgraduating the 11th class, conveying the President of the State of Palestine’s greetings to the graduate students and their families. He thanked the Minister of Education for leveraging the status of education, stating that “we are talking today about a state university as there is no state without governmental education; we are waiting for a qualitative leap in the field of education.”
Prof Awartani said that “the Ministry of Education has been providing a lot for the sake of higher education through the financial support, the academic and administrative staff and the accreditation of new academic programs,” adding that great attention should be paid to programs that meet the local and international labor markets.
He also pointed out the electronic governance conducted by the university different sections would achieve excellent
outcome in multiple fields.
