Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie concluded its participation in the Tenth Arab International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education IACQA ‘2022’, which was held in December, 2022 by Zarqa University in Jordan with a broad participation of 90 scholars from different Arab countries making significant recommendations for the high quality of higher education.
The PTUK’s Dean of Planning, Development, and Quality Dr. Murad Awadallah represented the university by a research paper with his co-author partner from An-Najah University, Dr. Aadel Al-Sartawi “Structuring and Rationing a measure of e-learning quality in Palestinian universities from PTUK Staff’s Perspective”.
Dr. Rima Daraghmeh, from the College of Arts and Educational Sciences, presented a research paper: "The Effectiveness of the Performance Appraisal System to Improve the PTUK Staff Performance ".
Dr. Bahaa Abu Awwad, from the Faculty of Economics, presented a research paper: “The Role of the Characteristics of the Boards of Trustees
of Arab Universities in Ensuring the Quality of Higher Education.”
Ms. Alaa’ Hantouly introduced a scientific paper “Teaching Agile Software Development Methodology in a Software Engineering Course: an Empirical Study,” co-authored with Dr. Abdusalam Sayad from Birzeit University..
Ms. Hantouly’s paper has been published within the conference in Scopus, which is considered one of the most powerful and best peer-reviewed journals in the world with the largest database platform for classifying scientific journals.
