Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie concluded the scientific visits to a group of European universities in France and Belgium as part of the “Development of TVET Pedagogical Competences and Qualification in Palestinian Universities TVETCQ,” which is a funded European Erasmus+ project.The delegation included the project manager, Dr. Nuha Iter, the President Assistant for Infrastructure, Dr. Maan Khatib, the Dean of Palestine Technical College, Dr. Rami Yousif, the Alaroub Branch Director, Dr. Bilal Younis, and the Head of the Electrical Department, Dr. Mahmoud Ismaeel. Dr. Iter explained that the visits aimed at sharing knowledge and training in the fields technical and vocational education, transferring expertise among the European and Palestinian universities in terms of face-to-face and blended learning as well as scientific research exchange.“It also enhances cooperation between the private sector and the universities in a way that contributes to adopting problem-solving methods by implementing practical research,” she said.Dr. Iter added that the team also conducted visits to laboratories of robotics and artificial intelligence, control, food processing, biology, simulation in nutrition, aviation and robotics, IoT and solar energy, cinema, agriculture, language, building start-ups, occupational health and safety.
