The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Prof. Marwan Awartani convened with a delegate from the Boycott Divestment Sanction BDS to discuss incursions resulted by the Israeli occupation against the educational institutions in general and the Kadoorie University in particular. The presence of member associations Linguistics talk, Professor David Walid, and Member of the Executive Council of Societies of Linguistics, Lenora Hanson, the head of Modern Linguistics Society, Professor Julia Buck.
In this context, Prof. Awartani presented the Israeli’s abuses and incursions inside the university campus as well as their destructive impact on students and employees.
For his part, Prof. Walid stressed the role of BDS in supporting Palestinians by performing an academic boycott against Israel all over the world.
