• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in physics or material science or a recognized university's related sciences.
• The student's undergraduate degree should not be less than good or equivalent.
• The general secondary certificate for the applicant should be in the scientific technological or industrial field.
• The student will have to pass the oral and/or written exams.
• After acceptance the candidate may be asked to take some remedy courses. The faculty of graduate studies will decide this.
• The student must pass a 36 credit hour with at least (75%) GPA.
• The student must pass a successful thesis or a comprehensive exam.
