Activating the role of the university in community service and sustainable development with its social, economic and environmental dimensions in order to meet the needs of the society.

‎•‎ Provide modern training services based on the needs of the ‎community in all sectors to develop the capabilities of the target ‎groups.
‎•‎ Enrich the community with scientifically based research studies ‎and qualitative research related to community issues and ‎problems.‎
‎•‎ Promote the concept of voluntary work inside the university and ‎in the local community.‎
‎•‎ Strengthen strategic partnerships with international and local ‎institutions in the areas of community service and sustainable ‎development."‎

The Deanship of Development and Community Service was established ‎in 2011 as a supporting deanship at the university. To find solutions to ‎societal problems related to social, economic, and environmental issues ‎to achieve sustainable development.‎
The deanship works within the strategy of participation and active ‎involvement of university members, including faculty members, ‎students, and administration, as well as members of the local ‎community, to achieve the goals of community service and sustainable ‎development by offering a variety of training and social programs and ‎conducting sustainable community studies and projects based on ‎national and international partnerships.‎
The Deanship of Development Affairs and Community Service is one of ‎the arms of the Palestinian universities towards the community, as the ‎universities are based on three functions: education, scientific research ‎, and community service.
Hence the philosophy of the Deanship of ‎Community Development Affairs came. It is concerned with personal ‎human skills and the skills of interaction between people and looks at ‎society as a complete and integrated social fabric.‎
Through the Department of Continuing Education, the Deanship seeks to ‎raise the efficiency of members of the Palestinian community by ‎evaluating a range of vocational and training programs based on market ‎needs. and the Department of Education for All Persons with ‎Disabilities.‎
