The Renowned Fine Artist Jamal Budwan Visits PTUK

The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Prof Marwan Awartani received, on Monday May 7, the international Palestinian artist “Jamal Budwan” – owner of the largest painting in the world – and who represented the Palestinian cause throughout his creative feather.

The guest was shown the university development plan and the plan of drawing the detained children mural in the university.
In this context, Prof Awartani explained that the university sets forth the efforts to support the talented of “Reesha Students” by providing them with the needed painting tools and fine atmosphere to present their fine work of arts and innovative abilities.

In a meeting with the university students, Dr. Budwan explained that the purpose behind his paintings is to correct the wrong stereotype that is distorted by the Israeli media through actualizing the true picture of the Palestinian case to the international community.
He also said that art is a resistant way of communication that influence the international opinion with the consideration that all kinds of art are an effective media tool on the western people; where any today’s case cannot be solved without international interference.
It is worth mentioning here that Dr. Jamal Budwan participated in 54 art exhibitions in 33 countries around the world under the title “Eye on Palestine”.
