PTUK Students Rewarded Advanced Levels in Marwan Majali Innovation Prize

Dr. Adnan Mjalli Educational Charity Association organized a cultural ceremony in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Al Quds Open University to reward the students who took the first advanced levels in Marwan Mjalli Competition for Innovation in Art and Literature in presence of a crowd of citizens and students’ families.
Dr. Mjallihighlighted, in his speech, the importance of science and education for the development of the students’ cultural, literal and artistic creativities which will lead to have a national public opinion, conveying the message of the Palestinian people to the world.
He expressed his readiness to support creative initiatives aiming at developing innovations that give rise to the benefit of the community.
The students were Adwa’a Ayash, who won first level for her painting called “Return”, Ezya Salem took first place in the short story competition entitled “I am the Universe and the Life”, Aseel Ma’moun Al Maqdisi had the second place for her story “Returning From There” and the third position was for Raghad Hanoun for her story “I Named Him ‘Omar’ ”.
The Dean of the PTUK Students’ Affairs Dr. Husein Shanak commended the role of the University President Prof Marwan Awartani, who constantly encourage innovations and creativity among the university students, adding that the deanship will always deliver assistance to the students to foster their creative competencies.
