PTUK Receives the Palestinian Designer Yousif Elaiwi

The Center of Excellence in Cloth Designing and the Manufacturing of Wearing Apparel at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie received, on Sunday May 5, 2018, the Palestinian designer Yousif Elaiwi to acquaint the students with his actual design experiences.
Yousif Elaiwi is known for his first position in the Modawar Competition (i.e. recycled) that was initiated with the aim of redesigning old clothes and the factories’ cloth waste.
He explained to the students his work experiences, talking about his participation in the competition where he added three beautiful designs with the explanation of his design choices, the elements and rules of application, turning his work into very special challenging cloth designs.
