PUTK Conducts Business Visit to PMA

The Faculty of Business and Economics at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie / Ramallah branch organized a business tour to visit the Palestinian Monetary Authority to acquaint the students with the authority’s structure and role in sustaining financial, monetary and banking stability in Palestine.
Nariman Abu Atwan, a lecturer at PTUK Ramallah, stressed the importance of the strong relationship between the university and the authority which will give rise to strengthening the banking sector and providing the labor market with professional business leaders.
The PMA’s Head of the Awareness and Complaints Department, Nidal Melhem, talked about the financial inclusion in Palestine and the authority’s role of enhancement.
The PMA’s Head of Research and Monetary Policies Department, Mohammad Attallah had much talk about topics like the monetary and prices stability, growth support, employment and the digital coins.
An open discussion was held with the students having subjects on the importance of the modern payment systems and the recent development in this respect.
At the end of the visit, the students were taken into a show round tour to see the PMA’s offices, its work agendas and the library.
