PTUK Awarded Scholarships within Zamalah Seventh

Three researchers from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Dr. Amjad Alkhalili, Dr. Karam Alwawda and Dr. Ra’id Daraghmah have been granted Zamalah Seventh scholarships to conduct their studies in international universities.
Zamalah Program is a creative initiative, funded basically by Bank of Palestine and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development andadministered by Taawon, with the aim of improving the high educational quality and the teaching methods to parallelize the theoretical and practical learning with the local community service and the labor market needs.
The scholarship included Dr. Amjad Alkhalili to conduct his research in Queensland University of Technology for six months in the field of learning methods enhancement and academic programs development, Dr. Karam Alwawda to the University of Granada - Spain for two months to do his research in the field of electronics and Dr. Ra’ed Daraghmah to propose his research in communication at the Anadolu University – Turkey.
PTUK President Prof. Marwan Awartani stressed the University’s interest in such programs especially the academic international ones which encourage the academic staff to conduct their research effectively in fine environments.
Prof Awartani also explained that Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has a fine record in Zamala program in the past years which contributed to the upgrading of the University’s knowledge and research system.
The University President considered the scholarship grants a good result to the University followed policy in the scientific research and the educational system which will serve the research environment and the local community.
