A Chinese Academic Delegation Discuss Cooperation with PTUK

The Dean of the Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Dr. Tahseen Sayara received a Chinese academic delegation comprised of eight academics and graduates from North West University, headed by the researcher and diplomatic professor Zakarya Abu Dabousa to discuss means of cooperation with the Chinese Universities.
Dr. Sayara welcomed the delegates commending the deep Palestinian – Chinese relationship, hoping more of the same to sustain development in the educational system which ultimately serve the university students and build strong and true partnership between the two universities.
The Dean also touched upon the problems besetting the higher education in Palestine particularly in PTUK; a location that is so near the Green Line which is a junction point between the Palestinians and Israel, pointing consequently to the damaging environmental effects of the Chemical industries by Jewshuri Factory inside the University campus.
Prof Abu Dabousa expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome explaining the aim of the visit is to see the real damage of the Israeli incursions at the University, pointing out that joint cooperation between the two universities is possible in the field of engineering, information technology and soil science.
At the end of their visit, a PTUK PR team escorted the delegates around the University campus.
