Growing Flowers Entitles Cooperative Team Work Spirit at PTUK

A group of volunteers with hearts bearing love and gratitude to Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie gathered on Saturday Morning July 28, 2018 near the entrance singing soft music and carrying plantation tools to grow young roses reflecting their beauty and a present atmosphere of peace.
In a gesture of loyalty to PTUK, the Tulkarem Cultural Saloon dedicated a time of their voluntary work to plant roses in the University campus where in this context the Saloon Coordinator Ms. Asmahan al-Azouni pointed out that the organization of this event came as a recognition of appreciation to Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie for its pioneering role empowering culturalism and citizens’ care in Tulkarem City.
The University President Prof Marwan Awartani Participated in the event stressing the importance of voluntary work as a way of life. He believed that the event is a national reflection to the joint harmony and cohesion between the University and the local community, assuring that the State University will be opening its gates for all.
Ms. Asmahan said that accompanying children to this type of event embodies educational values that enhance better future of belonging and citizenship to appreciate the land and the voluntary work from an early age. She thanked the organizers and called for continuous support to the university to enhance development for Tulkarem city and the whole nation.
