Two researchers from the Faculty of Sciences and Agricultural Technology at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie have conducted research visits to Hohenheim Univerity in Germany within the framework of the Palestinian – German Research Cooperation Program which is funded jointly by the German Ministry of Research and Education and the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The exchange of visits, which were conducted by Dr. Nawaf Abu Khalaf and Mohammad Jawabra, included joint study to insert precision farming techniques and applications in Palestine through conducting scientific research and exchange of expertise between Germany and Palestine.
The visit aimed at learning the modern precision farming techniques in Europe, analyzing the collected results in Palestine and discussing means of application to these technologies in local areas in the future.
