Eight Thousand Students Start Their New Academic Year at PTUK

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has started the first day of the new academic year 2018 – 2019 by setting out the preparations and the developmental additions upon high quality level along with new academic programs as well as the suitable infrastructure to meet the conditions of a conducive university academic life for more than 8000 students.
In this context, the University President Prof Nour Abu-Rub expressed, during his first day at office, his comfort upon the course of the academic year in an interactive and positive environment and high commitment to the academic process, stressing the necessity to invest the available resources to motivate the free thinking of the academic staff and students at PTUK in a conducive and incubating landmark for young and creative capacities.
Prof Abu-Rub also explained that PTUK is considered throughout its branches – in Ramallah and Aroub – every Palestinian’s university and a leverage to the state high education in Palestine with the belief of that high quality education is a right for all through offering plenty of scholarships and support for more than half of the enrolled students according to specified basic standards, in addition to the full scholarships for the less – fortunate students with support and partnerships with a number of societies and expatriate Palestinians.
