The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Prof. Nour Abu Rub and the Major General of Palestine Police Hazem Atallah signed a cooperation memorandum of understanding to foster partnership in the academic and security fields and to organize joint work in related concerns.
The MOU involved cooperation between the two sides in fields of knowledge and technology by using the infrastructure, administrative and technical capabilities of each party aiming at developing both staff, providing technical assistance, preparing the different activities and events, creating links and networking to sign cooperation agreements with donors as well as offering study seats for Police individuals and their sons as per the conditions of admission and registration.
During their visit, the University organized a ceremony to honor the Director of the Explosives Engineering Unit in Tulkarem, Colonel Nael Saleh, Sergeant Ahmad Alsa’di, First Lieutenant Atef Abu Younis for their great efforts protecting the University from the Israel occupation explosive remnants as well as Rajab Sobhi Khalaf from the Service Department at PTUK for his outstanding cooperation to ease the Unit mission.
