The Deanship of Community Service and Development at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie discussed cooperation and interactive partnership with Palestinian Medical Relief SocietyPMRC to organize multiple activities and implement programs that serve the community especially in the marginalized areas.
The two sides are actually launching a wide-ranged project that serve marginalized groups of the house keepers, unemployed men and women, and the people with special needs; a project to be implemented at different stages.
In this context, it has been agreed to hold events to raise the awareness of the students and the community about the needs of the people with special needs and to support this marginalized group especially in training and assistance. Also, information sessions in medicine and first aid assistance will be held for the students of the Community Service Course.
It is worth mentioning that PMRC has announced to provide a special wheel for the people with special needs as well as first aid kits for the University.
