Honoring Odeh in 20th Students Innovation Forum

The Student “Sabri Odeh” – Mechanic Engineering at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has recently joined the 20th Students Forum that was organized by the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU), at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan bearing the title of “Globalization and its Impact on the Developing Countries: Challenges and opportunities.”
Eighteen Arab universities have also participated in the Forum including: UAE, Oman, Iraq, Palestine, Egypt, Libya, Sudan and Jordan.
The Forum’s organizers praised Odeh’s innovative project - “a Developed Ambulance Stretcher” – which qualified him to be among the best 38 projects having therefore been honored a certificate of appreciation, a gold medal and a financial prize.
The Ambulance Stretcher, developed in the Innovation and Education Technology Center (IETC), aims at easing the paramedics’ mission during their work, secures protection, comfort and privacy for the casualties or patients during the transfer processusing fast and easy detachable and installation tools on the stretcher.
