Kadoorie’s Legal Advisor participates in a training program on Legislative Drafting in India

Kadoorie’s director of legal affairs , Amjad Zaidat participated in a legislative drafting training program in India.The training was conducted under the patronage of the Indian parliament with the aim of transferring the Indian experience in the field of legislation and legislative drafting.
Zaidat explained that during the program ,he was exposed to the meticulous mechanisms and procedures of legislative drafting in the Indian parliament which has rendered India a distinct country in the field legislative drafting.
In a related context, Zaidat shared the Palestinian experience in the field of legislation and highlighted the mechanics and the nature of legislative drafting in Palestine with particular reference to the situation of governmental universities.
Zaidat also held several meetings with the president of the Indian Parliament, the general secretary of the Indian Parliament and the president of the Indian Arab League to discuss means of joint cooperation.
