Final Recommendations of the Undergraduate Research and Innovation Conference in Engineering and Information Technology held in Kadoorie between 3-4/4/2016

Organizing a conference to host expatriate Palestinian academics and specialists in Kadoorie University. An idea which was blessed and supported by the minister of Education.
Developing a comprehensive national strategy for the activation of innovation. This strategy is to be organized with the participation of universities and associates from both the governmental and private sectors and scientists at home and abroad, thus contributing to the formulation of a national innovation system and achieving integration with all institutions.
Inviting female scientists the likes of Katy Saadi, Asma Yassin,and Ansam Khalidi to participate in the events of upcoming conferences.
Establishing a center for Innovation at Kadoorie funded by Munib Al-Masri Foundation; this center is to be based in Munib Al-Masri Business School.
Enforcing cooperation with the Waqf of Jerusalem charitable institution which is an initiative launched by Munib Al-Masri’s Foundation in partnership with Al-Quds University and the University of Jordan to support the students creative and innovative projects -
Organizing a conference for innovation and creativity on an annual basis.
Emphasizing the vital role of public education and higher education in entrenching the culture of creativity and innovation in technology.
Reformulating the university’s system and adopting academic programs and syllabuses that encourage startups.
Formulating a national strategy to incubate the students’ projects in Palestinian universities.
Legislating governmental policies and financial incentives to support and encourage student’s creativity and innovation in universities.
Encouraging and promoting the ideas of leadership and innovation to develop entrepreneurial projects.
Establishing a database and developing a comprehensive system containing all students creative graduation projects at the level of the Palestinian universities .
Providing interactive electronic platforms that would contribute to the promotion of entrepreneurship, innovation and enterprise development.
Associating scientific research to education that would help in the transition towards a student-centered learning.
