Kadoorie Concludes the Events of the Third International Conference on Olive in Palestine: Remarkable Success and the Adoption of Important Recommendations

Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie concluded the events of the second day of the Third International Conference on olive and its parallel olive products exhibition.
At the end of the conference, the participants recommended the following:
- Increasing the cultivation of olives especially in B and C areas,
- Focusing on vertical expansion to increase productivity,
- Encouraging the institutions concerned with the olive sector to provide guidance and increase support of the Palestinian farmer alongside with directing financial support to Palestinian farmers in the olive sector.
The participants also called for the need to conduct a comprehensive survey of the diseases that afflict the olive harvest, expand the use of organic fertilizers, and the establishment of a Graduate faculty for agricultural science and technology.
