A Delegation Kadoorie Concludes a Visit to the University of Illinois Institute of Technology


A team from Palestine Technical University-Kadoorie concluded a scientific visit to the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, USA.
Kadoorie team consisted of the assistant professor in the College of Engineering and Technology- Dr. Fathi Anya and the lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences- Ahmed Ammar.
The delegation convened with the vice president of student affairs- Dr. Gerald Doyle who expressed his full readiness for cooperation with Kadoorie and discussed activating joint cooperation between the two universities especially in the areas of engineering, science, computer, agriculture, economy, administrative sciences and scientific research as well as leadership and entrepreneurial programs.
The delegation agreed on building an action plan for future cooperation in the area of staff and students exchange to be made concrete through signing a memorandum of understanding.
Parallel to the meetings with Illinois Institute, the delegation participated in a workshop on linking academic life to the needs of the labor market through innovative ideas and they also participated in the assessment of the students’ projects at the Illinois Institute.
