Palestine Technical University -Kadoorie hosted the Seventeenth Scientific Research Council meeting.
The meeting included the deans of scientific research from the Palestinian universities in the West Bank and Gaza through the video conference technique.
In this context, the vice president for academic affairs and the representative of the president- Dr. Sa’ed Mallak stressed the university’s readiness to take the responsibilities laid upon its shoulders as the secretary of the Universities Research Council.
For her part, the mediator of the meeting and the Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies in Kadoorie- Dr. Rana Samara endorsed the series of recommendations given by the council; these recommendation ranged from updating and revising the system of the Council of Scientific Research in the Palestinian universities, and preparing for a workshop on scientific publishing, the protection of intellectual property and the ethics of scientific research at Birzeit University.
