Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie hosted a celebratory ceremony to conclude a project on Improving Health and Environmental Conditions in Tulkarem Governorate.
The event was attended by the governor of the government of Tulkarem- Essam Abu Bakr, the President of Palestine Technical University- Marwan Awartani, the Head of Environmental Quality Authority-Dr. Adala Atiri, the Chairman of Tulkarem’s Municipality- Farid Abu Aql, the Director of Italian Cooperation, and representatives of municipalities and local councils in the Italian Foundation CESVI.
In this context, Prof. Awartani stressed that Kadoorie has become a leverage for scientific and environmental development pointing out that the cooperation between Kadoorie and CESVI Foundation is an indication that Kadoorie is a permanent partner in maintaining the sustainability of environmental improvement projects.
It is worth mentioning in this context that the project is financed by the Italian Cooperation through the Italian CESVI Foundation and implemented through the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in Tulkarem in partnership with the Thnaba Cooperative Society.
