In cooperation with the Agricultural Relief and the Directorate of Agriculture and under the patronage of the Governor of Tulkarem, Kadoorie organized a celebration to mark Land Day in the presence of the Assistant of the university president- Dr. Derar Eleyyan, the Director of Agriculture Directorate- Bassem Hammad, the Director of Agricultural Relief- Ahed Zanabit and a heavy presence of academic and administrative staff alongside with students from the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology.
In this context, Dr. Eleyyan referred to the difficult conditions that Kadoorie had to endure as a result of the Israeli incursions in the university’s campus pointing out to the necessity of employing creativity and innovation in agriculture to strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land.
