Kadoorie University and the Environmental Quality Authority Organize the First Environmental Day

In cooperation with the Environment Quality Authority, Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie organized the first environmental day under the patronage of the governor of Tulkarem- Issam Abu Baker.
The conference was attended by the Environment Quality Authority minister- Adala Al- Atera, the representative of the Governor of Tulkarm- Majdi Abu Limon, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts- Dr. Rabab Jarrar, the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee- Dr. Lamis Majd, the deans of the university, and university staff and students.
In this context, the acting president of PTUK- Dr. Sa’ed Mallak explained that the organization of this day comes within the framework of raising the awareness of environmental issues and increasing awareness of the impact of environmental problems.
Parallel to this environmental day, Kadoorie University and Environment Quality Authority signed an agreement for joint cooperation in the fields of environment with the purpose of promoting awareness of environmental issues among students about sustainable environmental issues.
