PTUK Expands International Exchange Mobility with Different Countries

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie signed a set of agreements with different international universities as part of its vision to activate the students and academic staff exchange mobility and to open horizons of new social and academic experience for the students.

This came during the annual forum of International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience IAESTE.

The University Acting President, Prof. Husein Shanak assured the university’s advanced methodology to adopt a quality addition in the students exchange program which falls within the university’s vision towards internationalization and joint research conducting to raise the status of the higher education through exchange of expertise with international counterparts.

The Director of International Relations Office, Dr. Yousef Daraghmeh explained that the students exchange opportunity is one of the office’s priorities supporting the students and the university ranking towards internationalization, which will give the students a chance to learn new experiences in international prestigious higher education institutions.
“They will be exposed to new research projects, take part in events, learn about new cultures, and contribute in scientific research,” Dr. Daraghmeh added.

The Director in Charge of Students Exchange Program, Dr. Mutamid Khatib stressed the university’s encouragement to adopt students’ mobility with hosting HEI worldwide based on acceptance standards, adding that the university follows up the students’ progress and prepares all the logistic arrangements to attain maximum benefit from the exchange process within comfortable learning environment.

Kadoorie University has been offered 30 exchange and training opportunities in Poland, six Erasmus+ exchange opportunities in University of Jaén in Spain, seven postgraduate exchange IT studies in the University of Parma in Italy and two additional staff exchange chances in computer sciences, and ten course-study exchange opportunities in Izmir University in Turkey.
