Developers Start Training Events for Designing Practical Courses

In the presence of the Acting President of Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, Prof. Hussein Shanak, the training activities of the team developing the practical courses at Palestine Technical University Kadoorie were launched within the activities of the promising 3EEE project.
The project is led by PTUK, and the training activities are being implemented under the management of Dr. Nuha Iter, Dr. Maan Al-Khatib and Dr. Mahmoud Ismail with the participation of a group of distinguished academic colleagues nominated from the various faculties of the university
The Project Manager, Dr. Nuha Iter explained that the activities of the training day focused on the flipped classroom curriculum, blended learning, and the mechanism for developing university courses according to such approach, dividing the courses into modules and designing them so that they are implemented in three learning environments in an integrated manner that focuses on achievement, idea production and creativity.
Dr. Iter pointed out that the training activities will last for a month for the first phase and the meetings will be implemented according to the three learning environments: face-to-face at the university, synchronous and asynchronous electronic, and practical exercises during development processes in real contexts and through development teams with partner universities, adding that a training course has been created on the Moodle LMS environment for training within the university, as well as 10 courses of different disciplines to implement what is being trained directly in specialized contexts.
She also indicated that the 3EEE project, which is being implemented in partnership with many Palestinian and European universities, aims to provide graduates suitable for the labor market to meet its requirements and the requirements of the era of digitization.
“This is done through the development of courses and programs according to the flipped classroom approach taught in three learning environments and designed with the participation of experts specialized in content, design and blended e-learning tools,” she added.
