Representatives from Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, including, the Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Mahmoud Jazzar and the Dean of Arts and Educational Sciences, Dr. Jaafar Abu Saa attended the third administrative meeting and national day event of the ICT4EDU research project at Al-Azhar University in Cairo from February 12th to 14th, 2024.
The project aims to enhance ICT competencies for early childhood educators in higher education across the Middle East and North Africa, funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
The meeting covered project progress, target groups, expected outcomes, and tasks, focusing on course updates, training guidelines, new materials, national workshops, future training plans, quality reports, and monitoring for the next phase.
The Project Coordinator Dr. Mahmoud Jazzar emphasized the project's alignment with EU practices to improve early childhood education, highlighting that PTUK’s significant role in advancing ICT in higher education.
He praised the ongoing collaboration among partner universities from Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Cyprus, Romania, Portugal, and Italy, aiming to achieve project goals within the set timeframe.
