PTUK Starts Preparing for 2nd Students Graduate Research Conference

The preparatory and scientific committees for the Second Graduate Research Conference held their inaugural meeting on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie.

The meeting aimed at organizing the conference and aligning with the university’s vision, led by President Prof. Hussein Shanak, to presume scientific excellence and to highlight distinguished research projects, thereby enhancing the level of scientific research.

Dr. Samer Arqawi, Dean of the Graduate School and Conference Chair, emphasized the importance of the conference as a pioneering scientific platform to showcase outstanding graduate research.

He underscored the necessity of sustaining the annual conferences to present student achievements and recommendations, redirecting research to meet societal needs and keep pace with technological and scientific advancements.

Dr. Ahmed Ammar, the general coordinator of the conference, outlined the conference's objectives, themes, and organizational mechanisms.

The conference will span two days, with the first day held in-person at the university and the second day conducted virtually, and it is scheduled for October 15-16, 2024, with application details for student presentations to be announced later.
