PTUK Finalizes Program to Prepare Students for the Job Market

The Alumni Follow-up Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, in partnership with the Palestinian Education for Employment Foundation, concluded a training program titled "Job Seeking is a Job in Itself," with the participation of 30 students.

The program spanned 24 training hours as part of the "Skills for Sustainable Jobs" project, aimed at preparing participants for the job market and equipping them with essential skills for professional success.

Ataa Salem, the program coordinator in the Alumni Follow-up Department, emphasized that such initiatives are cornerstone efforts in empowering students and preparing them to enter the workforce. She further explained, "The program is not merely about job searching; it is an opportunity to develop vital skills that help students apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world work environments, enhancing their ability to adapt to the changing demands of the job market."

Dr. Yahya Estetieh, Dean of Student Affairs at the university, highlighted that the university is committed to offering training programs that enhance students' competencies and equip them with the tools necessary to actively engage in the workplace. He stressed the importance of providing students with practical and cognitive skills to face professional challenges with confidence and efficiency.

Dr. Estetieh also noted that the program aligns with the university's vision of enhancing the employability of its graduates by equipping them with the skills required to excel in their fields, enabling them to become effective contributors in both their communities and the job market.
