PalestineTechnical University - Kadoorie conducted an information session on “WeBuild Palestine” Foundation.
In this context, the Chief Executive Director and the Co-founder of the Foundation, Bessan Abu Joudeh delivered a detailed presentation on the nature of the problems targeted by the Foundation and the steps taken to conduct a collective brainstorming through a virtual platform on the Internet adding that “by working with universities, the foundation wishes to find untapped talents and innovative ideas that could help in finding solutions to societal and communal problems”.
For his part, the moderator of the session Dr. Dirar Eleyan called upon the students and the faculty members to make optimal use of such platforms in order to raise awareness of the societal problems and to increase their ability to solve problems collectively.
At the end of the workshop, the academic staff and the participating students were given the chance to inquire about the topic.
