PTUK Commemorates Palestinian Heritage Day

In collaboration with the Directorate of Culture in Tulkarem and the Association of Creativity in Kufur Yassif, the Center of Competency for Fashion Design and Clothing Industry at Palestine Technical University commemorated Palestinian Heritage Day in the presence of the Dean of the Palestine Technical College, Dr. Arafat Zidan, the Director of the Competency Center, Montaser Al-Kum and the President of Kufur Yassif Creativity Society, George Touma.
The celebration was inaugurated with the opening of a graphic art exhibition, a runway fashion show followed by a presentation of artistic and lyrical paragraphs from the Palestinian folklore.
In this context, the Director of the Competency Center, Samer Al-Saabi, opened the event with a speech in which he emphasized this day has become a part of the University’s annual tradition and asserted the University's keenness on reviving the Palestinian Heritage Day on October the 7th each year.
