PTUK Participates in the Second National Bridge Competition

A team from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Palestine Technical University- Kadoorie participated in the Second National Bridge Competition.
The competition was organized by the American Society of Civil Engineers at An-Najah National University in Nablus, with the participation of 33 teams from different national universities.
Kadoorie participated with four teams; each of which consisted of six students from the construction engineering department at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Kadoorie’s teams ranked first in the best design for architectural quality, second in the stamina test and third in the best architectural design.
In this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Kadoorie University, Dr. Makram Abbas stressed that participating in such competitions falls within the university’s vision to promote student engagement in scientific competitions with their peers in Palestinian universities.
